So its not a huge milestone but today Kaiya grabbed the rings I have hanging in her travel swing - I thought it was cool so I took pics! Enjoy.

1 week old
Well Kaiya turned a week old yesterday, seems hard to believe she has been with us for a week already!! Man time flies. Things are going good, she wakes up two times at night and usually goes right back to bed, so I can get some sleep. Josh is a big help, he is getting good at changing diapers!! She is a pretty happy baby, she usually eats, sleeps and sometimes is awake to hang out with us.
Yesterday we went to a baptism class together and she did really well, we caught it in between feedings but she was up for the majority if the class and did great!
Here are some new pics of her.

Introducing Kaiya Kraner
The newest member of the Kraner family came into the world yesterday, August 6, 2008 at 9:31pm. The delivery went so smoothly - I checked into the hospital at 6:00 and Kaiya was born at 9:30!! I pushed for 35 minutes, the doctor said that it was great for a first time mom. She was 7lbs 4 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Here are some pictures.

Updates
Well, here we are - Tuesday, August 5th - almost 4 days after Baby Kraner's due date and still no baby...
My grandma had her surgery last friday and things couldn't have gone better. She came out of it with very little pain - she had robotic surgery with two small holes in her abdomen vs. being cut open - which I guess eliminated a lot of the pain. She is doing great - they think they got it all and she shouldn't need chemo or anything. She is to find out the results today but so far, the prognosis is great!! I couldn't be happier!!!

No, no baby...
So here we are, almost 2 days past the due date and still no baby. :( She is starting to really hurt me under my ribs now and sleeping, well last night I did very little from back pain to rib pain. So I hope she comes soon - I guess I should watch what I wish for, I said earlier in the pregnancy it would be cool if she were born on 8-8-08 (which would be the day I get induced if she isn't here by then) but now...anytime will work little girl!!
